The be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 Rev. 2 is an upgrade revision of the Dark Base Pro 900. The difference is the addition of a power supply shroud, similar to the Dark Base 700 and other minor changes. The Dark Base Pro 900 Rev 2 review compares performance, build quality, and differences with Rev 1.

Dark Base PRO 900 Black Rev. 2 Review
The main difference between Rev 2 and Rev 1 case, is the PSU shroud cover. For this reason, if you have Rev 1, the PSU cover can be purchased separately. The shroud must be removed to install the power supply, which, is an inconvenience to reinstall or leave it out.
Above all, the PSU may have restrictive ventilation depending on the way you install. Furthermore, depending on install, the PSU may cause competition with the GPU for cool internal case air.
The Fan/LED controller functionality is almost identical to Rev 1, but a switch toggles from silent to performance mode. Now, controlled via a button on the front panel, formerly, which was the reset button.

The Cooler Master Cosmos C700M is a high quality, future proof and higher priced computer case. After all, it has a lot of features, along with great performance and aesthetics to justify the price. Given that, hope you can some how fit this into your budget.

Cooler Master Cosmos C700M Review
In most cases buyers must compromise when it comes to choosing a case, but the C700M has almost everything. Additionally, the full features allow the user to reconfigure the case at any time, for a new look. The layout is so versatile which makes the Cooler Master Cosmos C700M such a builders machine.
As can be seen, the C700M is huge, measuring 25.6" x 12.0" x 25.6" and 52 lbs with no parts. Furthermore, the frame is a solid steel construction, along with plastic, aluminium and tempered glass on the outside. Above all, when the ARGB is on, the C700M will be the showcase in the room.
Although, the Cosmos C700M resembles the Cosmos C700P, a closer look will reveal improvements both cosmetic and functional. Along the top and bottom of the case are 2 functional aluminium handle bars to lift the case. Similarly to the C700P the front panel contains: 4 x USB 3.0; 1 x USB 3.1; headphone and mic jacks; fan and ARGB controller; and power and reset buttons.
However to use all 4 USB 3.0 ports, your motherboard will need dual 3.0 headers or an adapter cable. Also the dual layer black mesh lining on the exterior improves airflow and uses removable plastic mesh filters. As a result, cleaning is easy, pull out the filters and vacuum or wash no need to move the case.
Further, there is plastic for aesthetic purposes in and around the case, and doesn't effect the case structure. Of course plastic is light and will save additional weight to the case. The left side panel has a curved piece of tempered glass with metal rims and hinges connecting to the case.
Under the front panel is a hidden compartment for the optical drive. At the same time, the panel opens enough to permit the drive tray to extend. Powering up the case lights the RGB LEDs which follow the seams in the middle sides of the case.
The Cooler Master logo on the I/O panel also lights up. Further a button on the I/O panel allows you to control the LEDs through presets. In contrast, a motherboard connection allows you to sync the LEDs for software-based control.
Cosmos C700M Interior
Inside the case above the power-supply and in front of the motherboard is an unusual vertical mounting bracket. In fact, the bracket is a mounting location for a dual-slot graphics card. Additionally, the bracket is adjustable backwards into a reclining position to show off your style.
There are 9 locations for storage devices: 3 x 2.5" drives and 5 x 3.5" drives. Specifically, behind the motherboard: 2 x 2.5 drives and a fan controller supporting 6 fans. Installing a PSU can be a bit tricky, but take your time, slide it in and tighten.

Cosmos C700M Cable Management
Cable management is clean, simple and easy using velcro ties to attach existing and additional cable. Also the roominess in the case makes working in the unit a pleasure. In contrast, smaller cases with tight clearances, you will get cuts on your hands and arms from the components.
Two sets of rails allows installation of two radiators up to 420 mm long in the top or front positions. You can also mount a radiator in the rear exhaust position (120 mm or 140 mm) or on the case bottom (120 mm to 240 mm). Of course, you get three 140 mm PWM case fans that come installed.
Finally, the most unique feature of the case is the ability to rotate the motherboard mounting tray 90 degrees. For this reason alters the internal layout of the hardware to better suite your needs. The case comes stock as a conventional layout and moving 90 degrees will make it a chimney configuration.
As a result the airflow of the exhaust will exit through the top. In addition to the chimney configuration, you can also reverse the motherboard tray. Consequently, the motherboard will face case-right instead of case-left, called the inverted configuration.

Thermaltake Core X71 Review
The Thermaltake Core X71 is a tall full tower chassis and features a 4 mm thick tempered glass window. The motto for Thermaltake’s Core series is "Your build our core" bringing us to the forefront of modular chassis design. The X71 is a steel chassis with a plastic front panel in an excellent package.
For anyone that knows Thermaltake cases, in essence this is an upgraded F31 case. Furthermore, a simple dual chamber pedestal type design makes for a neat looking system. Additionally, the removable 3.5"/2.5" drive racks give you flexibility to populate interior space with hardware and cooling.
The top panel has a large removable magnetic dust cover. Also, the front panel is a vented mesh cover which means air can flow in and out of the case. Furthermore, it comes off with a finger pull from the bottom.
Additionally, there is a removable dust cover on the inside and stuck to the case is the I/O panel. Also, comes with riser GPU support bracket with optional PCI-e riser cable, and 2 x 140 mm Riing fans. On the whole, there are few cases on the market that can accept a 480 mm radiator in the chassis.
Fans of X71
However, the X71 can house a 480 mm radiator at the front, prior to removal of fans and drive bays. Also fan support is: 3 x 120 mm or 140 mm fans, 2 x 200 mm fans ensuring that your chassis will remain cool. Options for using the drive bays: leave in the top chamber, move to the pedestal or remove.
Additionally, another option, is to install a 2.5" or 3.5" drive in the optical bay housing. In either case, there are 2 choices to install the power supply, in the main chamber or in the pedestal. Due to, strategically adding a fan or 2 to the case to increase air circulation, will keep the case cool.
However, many high speed fans will cause noise issues, in which case turn fan speed down or add dampening material.
As shown above the Thermaltake Core X71 is a big case. If you have plenty of space and not worried about fitting under a desk, this is perfect. Also if you have lots of hardware to install it will easily fit that too.

The wide case makes cable management a breeze, especially with the amount of tie downs. This case is for you if you like the quality construction and have a plan on using the space. 4. Cougar Panzer EVO RGB
The Cougar Panzer EVO RGB is a unique distinctive contemporary design case for the computer enthusiast/gamer/builder. Not to mention, a heavy duty case with plenty of tempered glass and RGB fans allow for great thermal performance. At the same time, all of the options and features add up to a case worth what you pay for.

Cougar Panzer EVO RGB Review
The Cougar Panzer EVO RGB case is similar to the Cougar Panzer G, but with an abundance of RGB loaded extras. To emphasize and rightly so, the Cougar Panzer EVO RGB is known as the RGB Crystalline Titan. In effect, Cougar has addressed the issue of RGB, extraordinarily done with its very first RGB enhanced case.
Additionally, it has 4 massive tempered glass panels and 4 powerful fans in a stylish full tower case. Furthermore, the fan controller allows you to control 18 LEDs and 100 different effects for a showcase appearance. The case is large measuring 612 x 266 x 556 mm, weighs 36.3 lbs and looks like a tank.
Moreover the design details combine to reflect a visual of a Panzer G, but taller and wider. Even though the Panzer EVO RGB is only available with a black on black color scheme, the touch is elegant. Likewise, on the corners are carbon fiber accents, giving the case a superb look.
On top of the case, is dark tempered glass, with 4 thumbscrews to lock in place. Also underneath the glass, mounting locations for 3 120 mm or 140 mm fans and a magnetic mesh filter. On the positive side there are two large handles on top of this case for moving or transporting your system.
For this reason, can use the space and double as a storage area for your keyboard. Also another cool feature is an optional headphone hanger on the top front of the case. The I/O panel has 2 x USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C, and USB 2.0 port.
Additionally, a fan control slider switch, power and reset buttons, headphone and microphone jacks. To emphasize, the other 3 glass panels are dark tempered, and unfortunately will not showcase your hardware. Accordingly, thumbscrews and locating pins secure the glass panels to the frame.
The back of the case has 8 expansion card slots, motherboard I/O, and 120 mm fan. Additionally, space for a bottom mounted PSU, and 3 punch out holes for external liquid cooling tubes. Further, at the bottom of the case for the power supply, and the optional fan are 2 mesh filter outlets.
Although hidden underneath the case, across the width are 2 plastic feet that hold the base 2.5" off the ground. Additionally, magnetic seals at the edge hold the metal mesh filters on the top and front of the case. Furthermore, button type magnets hold the large nylon filter at the bottom of the case.
Cleaning this filter is tricky because of access to the filter, putting the case on its side would allow access.
Interior of EVO RGB
The accessories box contains: an owners manual, miscellaneous screws, standoffs, ty-raps, headphone hanger, fan splitter, RGB controller and remote. Removing the four screws holding any panel in place will access the interior. Comparatively, the interior of the case is black to match the black exterior and a plastic shroud on the bottom.
Accordingly, Cougar put the shroud on the bottom to keep the interior tidy and hide the cable mess. In particular, there is an instruction sticker on the shroud to tell you how to detach it. Obviously, Cougar has a reason for this but a shroud of metal would have been a better match.
On the positive side there is enough space in this compartment to house a big 1500 W power supply. Behind the motherboard tray, there is about 45 mm of space which will fit 3.5" drives. Additionally you have lots of room to route cables and into the front area are 4 - 2.5" drive bays.
Moreover, the tool-less design allows you to slide drives in and out with ease. Also there are 2 - 2.5 or 3.5" drive trays for additional storage. The front of the case has a magnetic mesh filter with 3 RGB 120 mm fans that intake air into the case.
A plastic diverter along the left edge of the fans divert some air behind the motherboard tray. Specifically, cooling the hard drives between the side panel and back. Above the shroud are 8 expansion slot covers, each held in place with a thumbscrew.
At the top of the case, there is 1 RGB 120 mm fan. An accessories box contains: owners manual, miscellaneous screws, standoffs, ty-raps, headphone hanger, fan splitter, RGB controller and remote. Furthermore, the RGB controller can handle 8 fans and 4 LED lighting strips.
Not to mention, each fan contains 18 LEDs capable of 100 different RGB lighting effects, controlled through the motherboard. Additionally a remote allows you to change colors and lighting modes at will.
Summary of EVO RGB
The Cougar Panzer EVO RGB's unique looks and distinct styling will attract a lot of computer enthusiasts. Moreover, the heavy duty case construction is excellent, the fit and finish are additional premium features. In summary, a fantastic chassis with enough glass and RGB lighting for the computer builder in all of us.
Additionally, thermal performance is fantastic and the premium list of features will bring out the best of any computer installed. Not to mention a limited 1 year warranty. Lastly, if you have the money, no doubt about it, the Panzer EVO RGB is worth the price.

5. Phanteks Enthoo Series Primo Aluminum
Although Phanteks for a long time has been a CPU cooler manufacturer they have come into the chassis market. Even though, the Phanteks Enthoo Series Primo is a few years old, it is a design of their own. After all you can see influence from Corsair and NZXT to produce a remarkable Phanteks full tower case.
The Enthoo Series will attract attention of builders and enthusiasts alike making other companies look at what Phanteks did. In effect they have set a standard in this design, nice lines externally and modularity internally. At the same time, it was going head to head with the now obsolete Corsair 900D.
With this in mind if you see a 900D, grab it, it is a great case, you won't find new. At the present time on to bigger and better things.

Phanteks Enthoo Series Primo Aluminum Review
In the first place, the Phanteks Enthoo Primo is a big full tower case. In detail, the dimensions are 650 x 600 x 250 mm, and weighs 17.9 kg or 39.5 lbs. Additionally, the construction of the case is steel, aluminum plating and plastic in a great looking package.
The top of the case has a brushed aluminum plate on plastic, cut to fit the removable mesh insert. The back of the case also has a mesh cover, which will release after pushing down on the latch.The I/O is on the top front with the power button and HDD LED, the rest on top.
Specifically, on and off switch, reset button, 2 USB 2.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, mic and headphone jacks. The front of the chassis is plastic, with a plate of about 1/8" brushed aluminum cover. At the top, there is a hidden door, which behind allows intake for the front fans.
The left side of the case has 2 windows, the larger gives a view of the inside and the other shows the logo. At the bottom, pushing the trim pieces will pop the dust filters for easy maintenance. The right side has the aluminum cover with 2 mesh areas for ventilation.
The bottom has a thick plastic frame that supports the case and keeps it stable. Additionally, rubber pads underneath keep the case from sliding around.
Behind the front magnetic door, there are 5 5.25" removable bays for optical drives or reservoirs. Access from the inside or outside makes for installation or removal of fans or radiator easy. Below are 6 3.5" bays that are removable from behind the motherboard tray.
The case supports up to 12 2.5" drives in the racks and locations behind the motherboard tray. The motherboard tray supports M-ATX, ATX, E-ATX and SSI EEB motherboards. Also plenty of wiring options, with many places to tie the PSU cable.
Fans of Enthoo Primo
Phanteks includes 5 140 mm fans of which there are 10 possible locations. Equally important, if you choose 120 mm fans, the case will support up to 16. On the other hand water cooling is yet another option. The front supports a dual 120 mm radiator, the top supports quad 120 mm, or a triple 140 mm radiator.
Additionally, an optional rack in place of the HDD racks, allows for another dual 120 mm radiator on the side. Moreover, the back supports a single 120 mm, or a single 140 mm radiator. Identically the bottom mirrors the top and supports a quad 120 mm or a triple 140 mm.
Above all there is a reservoir mounting plate and support bar on the right side of the motherboard. Also on the floor in back is a pump bracket. Finally, for those that need it, space for 2 PSU's, a side mount and the other optional.
Also a parts box, which includes: a manual, velcro ties, ty-raps, foam pads, and parts tray with screws. Above all the various screws will fit everything for installation into the case. Finally, after power on, a cool looking blue LED line that runs along the front and top of the case.
Summary of Enthoo Primo
Phanteks uses some great ideas, and puts them together in this well designed case. In reality, keeping the case cool is easy, you can install 15 120 mm fans or 10 140 mm fans. Although the case supports a lot of fans, the noise level is surprisingly low.
Then again, it has definitely stood the test of time, and for many more years to come. Lastly, the Enthoo Primo has everything you need, and is affordable, a great case at a low price.

Equally, some of these amazing full tower cases can stand the test of time. In the same way, a builder can showcase each case to their own imagination. Comparatively, the cases range in price, but I think you get what you pay for.
There is a case for each of your designs from low price to high performance cases. I prefer full tower cases to smaller cases because you have room and don't have to worry about upgrades. There are many cases on the market, but these are the ones I like.
