About
Hello and welcome to my website. I’m Jimmy.
You must be an avid Builder/Do It Yourselfer (DIYer), or want to be, people like you and I would rather put things together with our own hands and get down and dirty. I know you can build a better and cheaper rig than any manufacturer can put out. Do you want a computer from a manufacturer with proprietary parts?
Of course not, because if you have any sort of issues then you have to go back to them for parts. I am not going to name any names but does Apple ring a bell. The main reason for putting your own computer together is because it’s easier to trouble shoot when a problem occurs.
On PCHouseandCase.com I give tips, tricks, advice, and reviews on PC hardware to help you find the right products for your needs. I have been in the computer hardware business for many years, right after college I worked as a bench technician for 15 years. I have troubleshooted, disassembled and assembled more computers than I can count.
Assembling a new computer is a simple way to keep up with the latest state-of-the-art technology. Before we start talking PC cases, there are somethings that you absolutely need to pickup for yourself if you are going to do any work on your computer, or any type of electronics. I would start with basic items like a computer tool kit.
This can be broken down into wrenches, screwdrivers, safety glasses, anti static mat, digital multi meter (dmm), and a solder iron. I find it a pain when I don’t have the right tool, so I go out and buy the tool. Over the years you will accumulate tools until you have what you need and even more.
I hope I can help you make the right decision when it comes to hardware. Please subscribe to my email list and I will keep you informed on the latest and greatest in PC cases.
Happy PC case hunting. Remember – You cannot run the software until you have the hardware. My advice to you is to take your time, research the parts that you need and read the reviews, start with the ones on this website.
I will answer all of your questions, so please let me know.
Thanks for dropping by.
Jimmy.
